Celebrate an Old-Fashioned Holiday
at the Marshall Steam Museum
Wednesday, December 11
6 – 9 pm
Saturday, December 14
1 – 4 pm
Join us this December for a special holiday-themed program at the Marshall Steam Museum. The museum will be decorated and full of holiday cheer, and there will be something for everybody regardless of age!
This year’s program will feature:
- Special Photo Exhibit: Snow Travelers — Experiencing Winter at the Dawn of the Automotive Age including a display of early tire chains.
- Readings of The Night Before Christmas by Clement Clarke Moore & The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg
- Victorian and train-inspired holiday crafts and activities for the whole family
- Electric train demonstrations
- Hot chocolate
- And more!
Admission: Admission will be $3 for FAHP members and $4 for non-members and will include all of the museum crafts and activities. If you are interested in a FAHP membership, please visit our membership page by Clicking Here.
Parking: Due to the cold temperatures expected for Saturday we will be parking visitors on the estate right next to the museum. Our parking lot will serve as overflow parking and we will shuttle visitors across the street. So come straight from your warm car to our warm museum for a great program! Feel free to call us at 302-239-9085 if you have a question. Thank you!
Please Note: An Old-Fashioned Holiday is a program at the Marshall Steam Museum and not a Steamin’ Day event. The Auburn Heights mansion will be closed, and no train or car rides will be offered.
