Sold originally by the agent in Washington, DC, this car had about 5 owners including Smithsonian historian S. Hempstone Oliver before being purchased by Gordon F. Biehn of Hockessin, DE, in 1953. Tom Marshall bought it from Mr. Biehn in the spring of 1956 for $1,900. It was driven on a 1,300-mile trip to northern New England in 1974, and cosmetically restored in 1975-76. It is believed to have total mileage in excess of 100,000. |
